Order Fulfillment
To fulfill customer orders, grocery store employees are your customers’ personal
shoppers. Using the Manager’s Workbench Plus© application, employees download the
orders to a handheld device to ensure they are picked accurately and efficiently.
Orders are then staged and ready for customer pickup or delivery. The Manager’s
Workbench Plus also allows the retailer to directly manage their online store and
their online customers.
The handheld picking solution allows for either single or multiple order picking.
Requiring the picker to scan the item UPC will dramatically increase order picking
accuracy. In addition, the device will manage variable weight items, out of stocks
& substitutions and provide order exception reporting - enhancing customer satisfaction.
Direct integration to the Point of Sale (POS) system is possible when using the
handheld - maximizing labor efficiency during the checkout process.
